Can I migrate from my current EMR?
Absolutely. We offer guided migration support for practices switching from OSCAR, PS Suite, Accuro, and other EMRs. Our team handles data extraction, mapping, and validation so your patient records transfer accurately and securely.
What Ontario billing codes are supported?
AliceMR includes the complete OHIP fee schedule with machine learning, pre-loaded and regularly updated. This covers general assessments, consultations, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, premiums, and specialty-specific codes. ML-powered code suggestions and claim validation catch errors before MCEDT submission.
How does Alice Vision work?
Alice Vision Engine uses proprietary AI-powered document sorting to process health cards, lab requisitions, and referral documents. Point your camera or upload a photo, and the data is extracted directly into the appropriate patient record fields. All processing happens locally — no images are sent to external servers.
Is there a setup fee?
No. There are no setup fees, onboarding charges, or hidden costs. Your subscription covers the full platform including updates, support, and all standard features. Enterprise customers with custom integration needs may have a one-time implementation scope — we will discuss this transparently during the quote process.
Do you offer training?
Yes. All plans include onboarding training sessions for your staff. We provide video walkthroughs, a knowledge base, and live support during your first month. Enterprise plans include ongoing training and a dedicated account manager for your team.
What about data backups?
AliceMR performs automated daily backups with point-in-time recovery. Backups are encrypted and stored separately from your primary database. Enterprise customers can configure custom backup schedules and retention policies to meet their compliance requirements.
Can I use AliceMR offline?
Yes. AliceMR is built as a Progressive Web App (PWA) with offline support. Core workflows like patient lookup, encounter notes, and queue management remain available when your internet connection drops. Data syncs automatically when connectivity is restored.
